REGISTRATION PROCEDURES FOR FRESH POSTGRADUATE
STUDENTS, 2023/2024 ACADEMIC SESSION

 

  1. Log into your online portal account via www.pgskust.edu.ng/portal
  2. Click on “Acceptance Fee Payment” in the user-menu section to generate RRR Code invoice for acceptance fee.
  3. Click on “Registration Fee Payment” to generate RRR Code invoice for registration fee.
  4. Make payment for each invoice at any Bank branch or via the online card payment facility.
  5. After payment of acceptance fee click on “Admission Letter” to print the admission letter.
  6. Click on “Student Bio-Data” to verify payment of registration fee RRR code.
  7. Once your payment is confirmed, fill in the Bio-data form, then save & print the Bio-Data form.
  8. Next Click on “Courses Registration” in the user-menu section.
  9. Based on admitted programme/area of specialisation, the system will automatically add all relevant courses into the semester courses' registration tables.
  10. You are expected to use the relevant command button to “Add/Delete Courses” based on your Departmental registration guidelines.
  11. Save & print the courses registration form.
  12.  Print undertaking, library and medical forms by clicking on relevant command.
  13. You are to submit the following documents for physical screening and documentation to the Department, Faculty and School of Postgraduate studies:
  •  Original and photocopies of credentials
  •  Copy of the application form
  •  Copy of the undertaking, library and medicalforms
  •  Bio-data form & Courses Registration Form (CRF)
  • Acceptance fee & registration fee payment receipts (either online payment receipt or bank payment receipt)

Welcome to School of Postgraduate Studies:

The School of Postgraduate Studies of  Kano University of Science and Tecnology, Wudil was established to coordinate all postgraduate activities in the University within the existing regulations approved by the  University senate.

We strive to offer postgraduate programmes of the highest possible quality to those who aspire to become intellectual leaders in the professions and in the various disciplines of teaching and research.

The School of Postgraduate Studies  will Provide clear direction for research and graduate education.

The objectives of the Postgraduate School include, but not limited to:

  • To offer postgraduate programs of the highest possible quality to those who aspire to become intellectual leaders in the professions and in the various disciplines of teaching and research.
  • To support research that advances knowledge, contributes to undergraduate and graduate education, and which increases the capacity of the University to provide programs of service to the local community.
  • Promote through teaching, research and other means, the advancement of knowledge and its practical application to the needs of the community and Nigeria at large.

  • Maintain and develop high quality graduate programs to provide knowledge, innovation, and creativity.
